IMPACT
COMMUNITY IMPACTTaking on Northwest Michigan’s toughest challenges.

Making a difference in all we do together.

To many, United Way is well known but not well understood. That’s why we want to make sure you know what we do.

United Way brings together donors, volunteers, advocates, nonprofits, leaders, and more to take on northwest Michigan’s toughest challenges.

We do that in two ways, one through our grant making process where we invest in non-profits and community partners to have an expo impact in our region.

The other way is through investing in our community programs that are diving into our community to address some of the biggest issues we are facing.
Community programs like Tri-Share, the Great Start Collaborative of Traverse Bay, the Great Start to Quality Northwest Resource Center, 211, Community Connections @Work, Dolly Parton Imagination Library, Business Resource Network and many others.

Together we seek out northwest Michigan’s toughest challenges, set sound strategies and goals, and then work to fix them at their roots… in a UNITED WAY.
