COMMUNITY IMPACT GRANT

Putting dollars where they do the most good.

Every year, UWNWMI awards grants to other area non-profit organizations. These community impact grants are awarded based on the impact and importance of the work the non-profits are doing. Grants are made to organizations and programs that are serving in the Northwest Region (Antrim, Benzie, Kalkaska, Leelanau, and Grand Traverse counties) and the Char-Em Region (Charlevoix and Emmet counties).

Grant recipients for 2022 include Northwest Michigan Supportive Housing, Traverse Area Recreation and Transportation Trails, Inc. (Recycle-A-Bike), SEEDS Ecology and Education Centers, Newton’s Road Northwest, Junior Achievement of Northwest Michigan, Grow Benzie, Generations Ahead, and Traverse Bay Children’s Advocacy Center.
