Day of Caring 2023 – Register your organization’s volunteering needs today!
Aug 31, 2023 – Traverse City, MI – With summertime winding down, we at United Way of Northwest Michigan (UWNWMI) have big plans for this upcoming fall with our annual Day of Caring. This year, September 21st will be our day to celebrate the spirit of community across our region, as we host the largest single-day of volunteerism in northern Michigan.
UWNWMI is putting out the call for any and all agencies in Antrim, Benzie, Charlevoix, Emmet, Grand Traverse, Kalkaska, Leelanau, Missaukee, or Wexford counties who want to mobilize the caring power of our network of more than 1900 volunteers.
“Every year with Day of Caring, we get to witness our community join together to do good. We cannot wait to expand our Day of Caring efforts to all 9 counties, and to truly get into the communities where the effort of volunteers is so crucial,” said Seth Johnson, Director of UWNWMI.
Register your agency online at https://unitedwaynwmi.galaxydigital.com/agency/signup/
If you are already registered, post your volunteer needs for Day of Caring 2023 between now and the first week of September under our “Day of Caring 2023” Initiative.
“Our local businesses are already clamoring to register their teams to get into the community and give back. Now is the crucial time for agencies to get their fall projects completed with the help of our caring volunteers,” said Bailey Nuss, Director of Volunteer Engagement at UWNWMI.
